A second night slows down the rhythm of the voyage, leaving a whole day for an island village, a secluded beach and the traditions of Vietnam
Board at midday and spend your first afternoon on the water in Lan Ha Bay. The next day is for Viet Hai village and Three Peach Beach, then back on board for a Vietnamese tea ceremony and a second sunset. On your last morning, a bamboo boat carries you into the Dark & Bright Cave before the ship sails back to port.

A short boat ride brings you to Cat Ba Island, where a quiet lane winds six kilometres between rice fields and limestone peaks to Viet Hai village. Arrive by bicycle or electric car, step inside an ancient house, and learn to make steamed rice rolls with the families who live here.

Late morning brings you to Three Peach Beach, a small crescent of pale sand enclosed by limestone. Swim in clear, sheltered water or simply rest on the shore and watch the clouds drift by, far from the busier routes of the bay.

Two nights leave room for the slower traditions of Vietnam. Gather for a Vietnamese tea ceremony, steeped in ritual, and a cooking demonstration with our chefs. Greet the sunrise with Tai Chi on the sundeck, then drift by bamboo rowing boat into the stillness of the Dark & Bright Cave.

Questions
Check-in opens at 11:30 at the Lyra Cruise Collection lounge, Tuan Chau International Port (Lot 20B), and lunch is served on board at 13:00. On day three you check out at 9:00 and enjoy brunch at 09:30, before returning to the port between 10:30 and 11:00.
Two days and one night covers Frog Lagoon, a sunset and the Dark & Bright Cave. The extra day adds Viet Hai village on Cat Ba Island, Three Peach Beach, a Vietnamese tea ceremony and a second evening on the bay, at a slower, more relaxed pace.
A speedboat takes you from the ship to Viet Hai pier, then a flat 6 km lane leads to the village. Choose a bicycle or, if you prefer not to cycle, an electric car.
Transfers between Hanoi and Tuan Chau are not included in the cruise price. If you arrange your transfer with us, pick-up in Hanoi is usually around 8:00 in the morning; the exact time is confirmed one day before departure.
